If you are an undergraduate student at these select universities, we would encourage you to apply.
We aren't looking for a minimum GPA -- we are looking for a demonstrated passion in entrepreneurship and social innovation.
In 2008, an eminent panel of judges will select 5 E4SI Fellows.
Why Become An E4SI Fellow?

Once an 'Engineers for Social Impact' Fellow, you are a Fellow for life.
- Join a select
cohort of outstanding young leaders committed to social impact.

How To Apply?
To apply, e-mail a 1-page Curriculum Vitae (CV) and your thoughts on the following 2 essays (NOT exceeding 1-page each) to apply@e4si.org.
- Which immersion experience excites you the most, and why? How do you see yourself contributing to this internship?
- How will your selection as an E4SI Fellow benefit you and your community?
Please remember that specific examples, experiences and reasons would be more helpful than vague generalizations for competent evaluation of your essays.
Your application is considered complete only if it has ALL the three documents.

Selection Process
Your application package (CV + 2 essays) is reviewed thoroughly. The shortlisted candidates for the Personal Interview round are notified by email.
Our eminent panel of judges will schedule telephonic interviews with the selected students at a mutually convenient time. Each interview is expected to last for 20 minutes.
Five (5) students are adjudged as 2008 Fellows of Engineers for Social Impact. They qualify for the summer internships at the five social enterprises for a period of two months (during a mutually convenient period).
Fellows will receive a certificate and a competitive stipend for the work during their assignment experiences.
Fellows will meet for a 1-day felicitation ceremony on the completion of their internships to share experiences and to discuss enterprise solutions to development. Travel expenses to the venue will be at the candidate's expense.
